David, Panama

The town square in David, a bustling mid-size town of around 100,000.
Joe and Keith in the square.
Pio Pio, a fast food chicken place, was my favorite store in Panama. They're all over the country. (I just liked the name.)

David has a small public market that was open the day we were there.

The main reason we stopped in David was to kill time before our flight back to Panama City. Here's the tiny airport.
And the counter of our carrier, Mapiex Aero. I liked their logo, complete with toucan.
The prop plane that took us back to Panama.
Pretty Mapiex Aero ticket jacket.
